Dominicana Cargo Express provides logistics, pickup coordination, shipment management, quoting, payment processing, package tracking, and delivery services between the United States and the Dominican Republic.

We use Firebase Authentication to manage account registration, email verification, login authentication, security verification codes, and account protection.
Users create accounts using their personal email address and must verify ownership of the email address during registration.

- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and shipment tracking

5. Payments
Payments may be processed through Stripe, Apple Pay, credit card providers, or other authorized payment processors where available.
We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Third-party payment providers may process payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies and security practices.
6. Camera and Uploaded Photos
The app may access the device camera or photo library, with user permission, to allow users to submit shipment photos for quote requests, package verification, proof of delivery, operational support, and customer service purposes.
Photos submitted for quote requests are generally retained for up to 7 days if no shipment or pickup request is created.
If a user accepts a quote and proceeds with a shipment or pickup request, related quote information and associated photos may be retained for operational processing, billing, shipment tracking, customer service, fraud prevention, customs compliance, and legal or business recordkeeping purposes until the shipment process is completed and for any additional period reasonably required by applicable legal or operational obligations.
7. Location Information
Location information may be used to improve pickup coordination, delivery accuracy, and address identification, particularly in areas where traditional addressing systems may be limited or inaccurate.
Location access is optional and only used when the user chooses to share location information through the app.
8. Push Notifications
Users may receive operational push notifications related to:
- Pickup updates
- Shipment tracking
- Delivery status
- Account activity
- Customer support communications
Promotional or marketing notifications are only sent if the user has provided consent where required.
9. Sharing Information
We may share information with:
- Payment processors
- Technology service providers
- Firebase authentication services
- Delivery and logistics partners
- Internal operations personnel
- Customs, legal, tax, or regulatory authorities when required by law

11. Account Deletion
Users may request account deletion directly through the app settings page.
When a deletion request is submitted:
- Account access is disabled promptly
- Login authentication access is removed
- The request enters internal review and processing procedures
Certain shipment records, payment references, customs documentation, fraud prevention information, legal records, or operational records may be retained temporarily where required by law, dispute resolution obligations, fraud prevention requirements, or legitimate business operations before permanent deletion is completed.
